Dr Georgie Olesnicky
“As a female GP, I know firsthand how profoundly menopause can affect a woman’s life, and in more ways than one. It can impact her sleep, mood, memory, relationships, and work, to name just a few. Many women report feeling dismissed or invalidated when reporting these issues to their doctor.
Menopause matters.
Women deserve better support, clear, evidence-based information, and personalised care. It’s also a great time to ensure screening is up to date, and preventable conditions such as osteoporosis, diabetes and heart disease, are discussed .
When menopause is managed properly, we empower women and help them achieve a better quality of life. Something every woman deserves.”
