Fees


Kirribilli Doctors operates as a private practice, which means out-of-pocket costs apply for consultations. To ensure transparency and fairness, we follow a straightforward fee structure:

Medicare Card Holder

A $55 out-of-pocket fee will incur , in addition to the Medicare schedule rate.

Concession Card Holders

A reduced $30 out-of-pocket fee applies in addition to the Medicare schedule rate

Weekend Consultations

All patients, including concession card holders, will be charged a $70 out-of-pocket fee in addition to the Medicare schedule rate.

Non Medicare Card Holders

The full consultation fee is payable at the time of service. If eligible, patients may submit a claim for reimbursement through their private health insurance.

  • At Kirribilli Doctors, we warmly welcome new patients. Whether you're visiting for the first time or transitioning your care, our team is here to support you every step of the way. Registration is simple—just create a new patient profile online or contact our friendly reception staff for assistance

  • In most cases, we recommend reviewing your results during a face-to-face consultation. This ensures we can explore any concerns in depth and coordinate further care if needed. At times, simple results may also be provided by phone.

    For more information, please call the practice and speak to one of our lovely receptionist.

  • We are a friendly bunch! Of course we prefer to see you face to face. This allows us to examine you, collect pathology or organise any paperwork all at the same time. However, we understand that life can get busy.

    At Kirribilli Doctors, we offer a range of appointment types that best suits your visit. Most concerns might be able to be completed during a standard consultation and some consultations don't require you to come to the practice and are able to be done via telehealth. Please note, telehealth consultations are only eligible for existing patients who have seen a GP of Kirribilli Doctors face-to-face in the last 12 months.

    Long Consultation

    Some complex medical issues may take longer or require additional time with our Practice Nurse. If you feel you require a longer consultation time than 15minutes, please notify reception when making your appointment, examples of these may be procedures, skin checks, multiple medical issues eg. Cervical screenings combined with other medical issues, health plans, mental health plans and consultation, immunisation, diabetes checks.

  • To ensure that you get the best care, booking an appointment is the best way for you to talk to your doctor.

    For non-emergencies, you could leave a message with our front desk staff and we will like you know if your doctor would likely return your call.

    To respect your confidentiality, front desk staff do not have access to clinical information and cannot answer clinical questions over the phone or via email.

  • We all believe that preventitative care is important. From time to time, you may receive a call or text message with a reminder offering you preventative health services appropriate to your care.

    If you prefer not to receive these reminders, please let us know.

    For results, we will attempt to reach you by text, phone call and finally registered letter to deliver these results to you.
